We cut tall grass, weeds and light brush on accessible Lafayette fields, vacant lots and trails. Our Kubota tractor and rear-mounted Land Pride bush hog have a 60-inch cutting width and handle suitable woody stems up to about 1 inch thick. Larger saplings need mulching or clearing.

## Our Bush Hogging Process and Equipment

We use our Kubota tractor with a rear-mounted Land Pride bush hog to cut tall grass, weeds and light brush. We check for old fencing, debris and hidden stumps, choose a suitable cutting height and make overlapping passes. We finish by checking the agreed field edges and access routes.

## Acadiana Fields, Trails and Overgrown Edges

Grass, blackberry canes and thin woody regrowth can hide old fencing, fallen branches and uneven ground. We inspect the route before cutting and leave roots and cuttings on-site. We work around retained trees and marked native planting areas, assess soft ground separately and keep equipment out of drainage channels.

Prices: $300-$750. General project pricing; tree removal is per suitable individual tree. Acreage, vegetation, slope and equipment access affect your quote. Larger or difficult jobs can exceed these ranges. Stump work, hauling, permits and construction-pad preparation are quoted separately.

A customer in Youngsville wanted to walk their field and enjoy it with family, but tall grass, weeds and light brush had taken over. We brought in our Kubota tractor with a rear-mounted Land Pride bush hog and cut the growth to a manageable height. We kept the surrounding trees and left the cuttings on-site, opening the field for easier walking and regular maintenance. The owner was pleased with the work we did.
